ABOUT ME

My name is Page Dobson and I like to read books, hence the title. It works really well as a pun because my dad insisted he wouldn't remember where to put the "i" that is supposed to be in my name, so I guess thanks Dad?  

 

I started this blog in 2021 as a Little Free Library blog where I would reviews books I found at LFLs each month for that year. It was a fun challenge, but it didn't quite do what I hoped it would in my Prologue post. I still have way too many physical books lying around that I ignore in favor of a Kindle Unlimited romance. That's no longer my main concern. I've mostly accepted that reality. I don't drink or do drugs, so I have to have some crutch and if its smutty digital books, so be it.

Now I have another challenge that's front and center in my brain, another problem that I need to use this blog to help me solve. This one's a bit deeper, a bit broader, a whole lot more important. This one's about God, people, our Earth. About what I believe and who I believe. About dirty words like religion and politics. It's how to realize what's true and right and how to still love and show kindness to and even support those that I think are so dreadfully wrong. This one's about finding out what I think and living that out loud.
